According to Ira Winderman, the Heat's current predicament stems from a combination of flawed tactical strategies and the head coach's steadfast adherence to his methods. Spoelstra needs to adapt, as he has demonstrated his ability to modify his coaching approach during the era of the Big Three. What concerns me is the intense competition in the Eastern Conference, where a single defeat could have catastrophic consequences at the end of the season. The gap between the second and tenth place teams could be as narrow as three or four wins, and the team must cease experimenting with new tactics and swiftly revert to their established routines.
