According to Ira Winderman, the Miami Heat's current plight stems from a combination of tactical deficiencies and the head coach's steadfast adherence to his methods. Spoelstra needs to embrace change, as he had demonstrated his adaptability during the era of the Big Three. What concerns me is the intense competition in the Eastern Conference, where a single defeat could prove catastrophic at the season's end—just a few wins separate the top ten teams, and they must cease experimenting with new strategies and promptly revert to their established routines.
